Each appearance is deliberate.

These are site-specific interventions in cultural space—discreet yet unmissable.
Exclusivity within openness. Intimacy within spectacle.
Presence without promotion.
Attendance is always selective. The invitation is never loud.

MIAMI MUSIC WEEK 2025

An invite-only installation transformed the Zaytinya Beach terrace into a vivid gallery space—placing Constructive Unrealism within the pulse of Miami’s creative convergence.

ART BASEL 2024

Ritz-Carlton South Beach | December 2024

This marked the first U.S. appearance of Constructive Unrealism. The six works—its earliest small-format 3D canvases—were created specifically for this occasion, each a deliberate act of introduction.

Meet the Founder

The credo:

"The discovery of the infinite unknown and the pursuit of infinite discovery."

Cultural Intersections

From rooftops to riversides, Constructive Unrealism has appeared in unexpected places—intervening quietly in public space, without spectacle. These moments are not performances. They are placements—proof that the work belongs wherever structure and meaning are in tension.

In select moments, these appearances coincide with larger cultural atmospheres curated by our collaborators.

Inside the Studio

On the outskirts of Budapest, the Constructive Unrealism studio remains intentionally removed—structured, silent, exacting. Occasionally, glimpses are permitted: a brushstroke mid-motion, a wall of unfinished geometries, or the layered residue of a month’s labor.

These are not tours. They are fragments.

Critical Reception

Gábor Pál — Retired Director of the Railway School of Music and Fine Arts

Reflections from within the world of art and academia.

"Art elevates man, it can make every movement of his soul noble and wonderfully beautiful."

Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol eloquently describes how all branches of art can become part of our lives. This is the feeling that amateur painter Tibor Babos is trying to convey as he unveils his inaugural exhibition.

It may be the first time Tibor shows his work to the wider public, but certainly not the first time he paints. At a young age, Tibor devoted himself to the study of geometry and had an infatuation with abstract, non figurative themes. Outside of Hungary, he lived and created for years in the United States and Belgium; after decades of ideas, drafts and sketches have now become high quality, unique masterpieces. For him, art and creation are methods of relaxation, a counterbalance to his professional career – Tibor is a senior educational and scientific researcher, as well as a highranking government official. Yet, his favorite place to stay is his art studio, where he works on single paintings for months on end.

In his pictures, Tibor does not express himself directly, but rather depicts his thoughts with the tools of abstract painting. He intensively studies the internal relationships of geometric structures, and in turn, the connection between man and the world. His art is characterized by the striving for everincreasing professionalism, the bravura use of oil paint, and the precise knowledge of representational geometry. His painting technique is sometimes generous and rough, sometimes perfectly precise. The overall effect is created for the observer by discovering the entire spectrum between these two extremes. His paintings are a real mental exercise, a challenge for the thinking person, whilst simultaneously bringing visual pleasure to the audience.

I am sure Dr. Tibor Babos will have many more exhibitions to come, where he will continue to more widely share his artistic selfexpression, which is why I recommend these paintings to the attention of visitors.
